The challenge
OlaWealth had already tried the traditional route. What came back was volume: piles of resumes that wasted the team's time. A long list still has to be read by someone, so the cost of an imprecise shortlist lands on the hiring team's calendar long before anyone reaches an interview.
The approach
Instead of a longer list, OlaWealth got a shorter one. The role was briefed in plain English, Talent Summoner's agent searched the open market, ranked candidates against the stated requirements, and returned a shortlist small enough to read in one sitting — with the reasoning attached to each name.
The result
Five candidates were sent, and CEO Jason Chan rated all five excellent. The precision targeting saved the team, in his words, countless hours of candidate review and interviewing — exactly the time the resume pile had been quietly consuming.
