AI Candidate Sourcing: 9 AI Sourcing Tools Compared (2026)

AI candidate sourcing tools search profiles from LinkedIn, GitHub and the wider web, then rank people against your role. Of the nine tools below, eight publish an entry price, from a free plan to $494 a month, and LinkedIn Recruiter sells through sales.

We build Talent Summoner, one of the nine: describe the role in plain English and it returns a ranked shortlist with the reasoning behind each match. Your first Role is free, with no card, and every competitor fact below comes from that vendor's own page.

If you source every week, compare the monthly plans: Talent Summoner Unlimited, SeekOut, hireEZ, Gem and LinkedIn Recruiter. If you hire a few times a year, read the cost table too.

Which AI candidate sourcing tools should you compare?

Prices are as each vendor published them on 12 October 2026, in US dollars.

  • Limit: published prices stop at 100 employees. Above that, you need a sales quote.

Juicebox (PeopleGPT)

  • Searches: 800M profiles from 30+ data sources.

Fetcher

What does AI sourcing cost if you hire 3 times a year?

This assumes each role takes a month, so on a monthly plan you pay for three months and cancel between hires.

ToolCheapest paid plan, monthlyYear oneLater years
Talent SummonerPay per RoleUS$33US$79
HeroHuntStarter, monthly$297$297
FetcherSelf-serve, monthly$345$345
JuiceboxStarter, monthly$357$357
PinProfessional, monthly$537$537
SeekOutSourcing Core, monthly$537$537

Our arithmetic: year one is a free Role, then US$4, then US$29; later years use the US$79 3-Role bundle. Each monthly plan is its price times three.

hireEZ is left out because its page does not say whether the $494 plan bills monthly, and LinkedIn Recruiter publishes no price.

Gem is left out because its price depends on headcount, from $300 a month billed monthly at 1 to 10 employees, and under 30 employees All-in-One's first six months are free.

Pin and Juicebox also have limited free plans. The subscriptions buy more than a shortlist, such as contact credits, sequences and extra seats.

How do AI sourcing tools differ?

  • Where they search: LinkedIn Recruiter is the only one limited to LinkedIn's members. Pool size matters less than whether your must-haves show up in the profiles.
  • What happens after the search: HeroHunt runs outreach on autopilot and Pin runs sequences. Fetcher's Amplify plan adds a human sourcer, and LinkedIn's Hiring Assistant drafts messages and pre-screens.
  • How they charge: most sell monthly plans, Talent Summoner sells single Roles or monthly plans, and LinkedIn Recruiter quotes. Gem prices by company size, and the top tier of most others is custom.

When is another tool worth it?

  • LinkedIn Recruiter: you need InMail to reach people who list no email. It includes up to 150 InMails a month per seat (LinkedIn Recruiter vs Talent Summoner).
  • SeekOut or hireEZ: a recruiter sources every week and needs contact data, CRM and outreach in one place (SeekOut, hireEZ).
  • Gem: you want sourcing, CRM and scheduling around your ATS, or Gem's own ATS. Under 30 employees, Gem All-in-One, with its built-in ATS, is free for six months (Gem vs Talent Summoner).
  • Juicebox or Pin: you want to test natural-language search on a free plan first (Juicebox vs Talent Summoner).
  • HeroHunt: tech roles where GitHub and Stack Overflow matter, and you are happy for outreach to run on autopilot.

Where Talent Summoner fits

Candidate sourcing searches over 200 million profiles across LinkedIn, GitHub and other public sources. It ranks people against your must-haves and nice-to-haves, with plain-English reasoning for each match.

When you reach out, it drafts each message and sends it from your own Gmail, Outlook or LinkedIn after you review each message and confirm the send.

Prices as of 12 October 2026 (pricing): your first Role is free. Recruiters who source every week usually take Unlimited, US$299 a month for every open role. Pro is US$59 a month for 10 Roles, and unused Roles do not carry over. For a few hires a year, pay US$29 per Role or US$79 for 3 Roles.

Trade-offs, stated plainly: no InMail, no always-on pipeline and no ATS integration today. Its 200 million profiles are the smallest pool of the nine.

FAQ

What is AI candidate sourcing?

AI candidate sourcing uses software to search profiles across LinkedIn, GitHub and the web, then rank people against a role's requirements. Most tools also find contact details or draft outreach, so you start from a shortlist instead of a blank search.

What are the best AI sourcing tools?

It depends on how often you hire: Juicebox, Pin, Fetcher and HeroHunt start between $0 and $115 a month, while hireEZ, SeekOut, Gem and LinkedIn Recruiter start higher or sell through sales, and suit teams that source every week. Talent Summoner sells monthly plans, including Unlimited for weekly sourcing, and single Roles for a few hires a year.

Are there free AI sourcing tools?

Yes, with limits: Pin's free plan gives 5 contact lookups a week for one job, and Juicebox's free plan gives limited searches. Talent Summoner's first Role is free with no card, and SeekOut, HeroHunt and hireEZ offer 14-, 8- and 7-day free trials.

What is LinkedIn Hiring Assistant?

Hiring Assistant is an add-on to LinkedIn Recruiter that searches LinkedIn's 1B+ members, delivers a summarized shortlist, drafts messages and pre-screens candidates. LinkedIn publishes no price; you buy it through sales.
