LinkedIn Recruiter Pricing in 2026: What Each Tier Actually Costs
Recruiter Lite is $170/month; Corporate runs $8,999 to $15,000 per seat per year. Verified 2026 prices for every tier, plus the $39-per-role alternative.
LinkedIn does not publish most of its Recruiter prices. Here they are — $1,680 to $15,000+ per seat per year — verified across independent price trackers (notably Kanbox's pricing guide, April 2026), current as of July 2026.
Why we keep this page: we build Talent Summoner, an AI agent that turns a role brief into a ranked, evidence-backed shortlist from 200M+ profiles — $39 a role, or $79/month if you hire every month, free to start with no credit card. It is our product; every number below is sourced and stands on its own.
The short version: hire every week and a Recruiter seat can earn its keep. Hire a few times a year and the math stings.
LinkedIn Recruiter pricing at a glance
| Plan | Price (reported, mid-2026) | InMails | How you buy |
|---|---|---|---|
| Recruiter Lite | $170/month · $1,680/year annual | 30/month | Self-serve |
| Lite, seats 2–5 | ~$270/month per seat | 30/month each | Self-serve |
| Professional Services | $6,000–10,000 per seat/year | 100/month | Sales quote |
| Corporate | $8,999–15,000+ per seat/year | 150/month, pooled | Sales quote |
| Talent Summoner (our product) | $39/role · $99 for 3 · $79/month Pro | Your own outreach | Self-serve, free to start |
All figures USD. Only Lite has public pricing — everything above it is sales-quoted and varies by contract, so treat the bands as normal and anything above them as a cue to negotiate.
What separates the tiers:
- Lite — recruiter-grade filters, but you search your extended network, not the full member base. One quirk: seats 2–5 cost more per seat, by design, to push growing teams up-tier.
- Professional Services — the agency tier: fuller search visibility, workflows for many searches across many clients.
- Corporate — full member-base search, pooled InMails, pipeline tooling, ATS integrations. Three mid-band seats ≈ $33,000 a year.
What the sticker price doesn't show
- Negotiable quotes — the bands are wide because buyers pay different amounts for the same product.
- Renewals drift up — trackers report typical increases of 8–15% a year.
- Add-ons stack — extra InMails ~$10–15 each; promoted job posts from ~$500/month; Talent Insights (analytics) $6,000–20,000/year.
- Your hours — the biggest hidden line. Recruiter is a search tool, not a service: someone still writes the Booleans, reads profiles page by page, and sends every message.
The cost-per-hire math
A seat is only cheap or expensive relative to the hires it produces:
| Scenario | License cost per hire |
|---|---|
| Lite ($1,680/year) → 4 hires | $420 |
| Lite → 1 hire | $1,680 |
| Corporate ($11,000/year, mid-band) → 20 hires | $550 |
| Corporate → 6 hires | $1,833 |
Seat licenses reward continuous, high-volume hiring; idle months are pure cost. The brackets either side: agencies charge 15–25% of first-year salary per placement, and per-role sourcing runs $33–39 per role searched.
Talent Summoner against a Recruiter seat
Our product — free to start precisely so you can check the claims yourself:
- Describe the role in plain English — no Boolean, no filters; a two-line brief is enough.
- The agent runs the search — 200M+ profiles across LinkedIn, GitHub, and public sources, evaluated against your actual criteria.
- Review a ranked shortlist with the evidence per match spelled out. Contacting candidates is up to you, through your own channels.
Pay to match your hiring cadence:
- Occasional: $39 for one role, or $99 for three (saves $18). Unused roles stay valid 24 months — no meter running while you are not hiring.
- Monthly: Pro, $79/month for 4 roles a month; unused roles roll over 3 months.
| For ~4 roles a year | Recruiter Lite | Talent Summoner |
|---|---|---|
| Cost | $1,680/year seat | $138–156 total ($99 pack + $39, or 4 × $39) |
| Who searches | You, page by page | The agent; you review a shortlist |
| Outreach | 30 InMails/month | Your own email/LinkedIn |
| Idle months | Paid | Not billed |
Trade-offs, stated plainly: no InMail equivalent, no always-on warm pipeline, no ATS integration.
When LinkedIn Recruiter is worth it
Keep (or buy) a seat if any of these is you:
- You hire continuously — a seat producing shortlists every week wins the per-hire math.
- InMail is your primary channel — no third-party tool can send it.
- You run an agency at volume — Professional Services exists for exactly that workflow.
- You need deep ATS integration — Corporate's integrations matter at TA-org scale.
If that is you, negotiate hard on the bands above and buy it. Everyone else: start free on a live role and judge the shortlist before renting anything.
FAQ
How much does LinkedIn Recruiter cost per month?
Recruiter Lite is $170/month (about $140/month billed annually). Professional Services works out to roughly $500–833 per seat per month and Corporate roughly $750–1,250 — both sold only as sales-quoted annual contracts.
Is there a free version of LinkedIn Recruiter?
No — Recruiter has no free tier at any level. The nearest free starting point sits outside LinkedIn: Talent Summoner is free to start, no credit card.
How much does LinkedIn Recruiter Lite cost?
$170 per month, or $1,680 per year billed annually (about $140 a month). Adding seats 2–5 costs more per seat, at roughly $270/month each.
What is the difference between Recruiter Lite and Recruiter Corporate?
Search visibility and scale. Lite searches your extended network with 30 InMails; Corporate covers the full member base with ~150 pooled InMails, pipeline features, and ATS integrations — at roughly 5 to 9 times the price.
Is there a subscription cheaper than a Recruiter seat?
Yes — Talent Summoner Pro is $79/month for 4 AI-sourced roles a month (unused roles roll over 3 months), against $170/month for Recruiter Lite where you still run every search yourself. If even that outruns your hiring pace, pay per role: $39 once, valid 24 months.
Why did my LinkedIn Recruiter renewal price go up?
Sales-quoted contracts commonly rise 8–15% a year at renewal. Renewal quotes are negotiable, especially with usage data or a competing option in hand.
What does LinkedIn Recruiter cost per hire?
Divide the license by your hires: a $1,680 Lite seat producing 4 hires is $420 per hire; an $11,000 Corporate seat producing 20 is $550. Below that volume, per-role sourcing (from $39 a role) and contingency agencies (15–25% of salary) bracket the alternatives.
