SeekOut Pricing in 2026: What Recruit Core Costs, and What It Won't Quote

SeekOut now puts a number on its entry plan, which is new for this corner of the market: SeekOut Recruit Core is $179 per month billed monthly, or $149 per month paid annually upfront — $1,788 a year. Every tier above Core is still sold by quote, and everything here is read straight from seekout.com's pricing page, current as of August 2026.

Why we keep this page: we build Talent Summoner, an AI agent that turns a role brief into a ranked, evidence-backed shortlist from 200M+ profiles — $39 a role, or $79/month if you hire every month, free to start with no credit card. It is our product; every number below is sourced and stands on its own.

The short version: search and message candidates most weeks, and Core's seats and credits are priced for you. Hire a handful of roles a year, and $1,788 buys a search tool that sits idle through the months nobody is hiring.

All figures USD, from SeekOut's published pricing page. Core is the only plan carrying a public number; everything else is a sales quote.

What Core actually gates

  • Seat terms are not published: SeekOut does not publish Core's seat allowance or expansion terms. Confirm them in writing before signing.
  • Credits cap your reach: the monthly credit allowance is a ceiling on how many candidates you can contact — the page publishes no top-up option and never says what one credit actually buys, so ask before you sign.
  • Billing choice: paying annually instead of monthly saves $360 a year, charged upfront.

The tiers SeekOut won't price

Above Core, the three Recruit tiers all show "Custom" and print "Billed annually". Spot is sold differently — no "Custom" label, no price, just a "Talk to us" button — and its own line promises no annual commitment.

We went looking for reliable public figures and could not find independent ones. The third-party numbers circulating for these tiers trace back to a single procurement dataset of roughly 65 executed contracts, so we are not going to repeat them to you as facts.

What we can say: budget for a sales call, and for an annual commitment on any Recruit tier. If published prices matter to you, Juicebox publishes its three self-serve tiers and SeekOut now publishes its first.

Talent Summoner against a SeekOut seat

Our product — free to start precisely so you can check the claims yourself:

  1. Describe the role in plain English — a two-line brief is enough.
  2. The agent runs the search — 200M+ profiles across LinkedIn, GitHub, and public sources, evaluated against your actual criteria.
  3. Review a ranked shortlist with the evidence per match spelled out. Contacting candidates is up to you, through your own channels.

Pay to match your hiring cadence:

  • Occasional: $39 for one role, or $99 for three (saves $18). Unused roles stay valid 24 months — nothing meters while you are not hiring.
  • Monthly: $79/month for 4 roles a month; unused roles roll over 3 months, and extra roles are $25.

Trade-offs, stated plainly: no contact-credit database or InMail equivalent — you reach candidates through your own channels; no always-on background pipeline; no ATS integration today.

When SeekOut is worth it

Buy the seat if any of these is you:

  • A solo sourcer who searches most weeks — Core is the only tier you can buy without talking to anyone.
  • Volume outreach — contact credits, email integration with send-on-behalf, and multi-step AI campaigns are exactly what a seat buys.
  • ATS rediscovery — searching past applicants alongside external profiles starts at the integration tier and has no per-role equivalent.
  • The widest net — SeekOut publishes 1B+ profiles, several times the pool we search, which matters for rare or clearance-gated talent.
  • You want candidates delivered — Spot is a managed service with no annual commitment, a different purchase from any software seat.

If that is you, take the 14-day trial first and negotiate the tier above it hard. Everyone else: run a live role through a free Talent Summoner search and see whether a ranked shortlist beats a tool you rent by the year.

FAQ

How much does SeekOut cost?

SeekOut Recruit Core is $179 per month billed monthly, or $149 per month paid annually upfront, which is $1,788 a year. Every tier above Core, and the Spot managed service, is custom-priced by sales quote.

Does SeekOut have a free trial?

Yes — 14 days of full Recruit Core access with no credit card and no contract commitment. The trial covers unlimited search across SeekOut's 1B+ profiles.

How many seats come with SeekOut Recruit Core?

SeekOut does not publish Core's seat allowance or expansion terms. Confirm them in writing before signing.

Why doesn't SeekOut publish prices above Recruit Core?

Those tiers are packaged per customer by seats, modules, and usage, so SeekOut quotes them through sales — on annual contracts for the Recruit tiers. Public figures for them come from resold procurement data rather than SeekOut, which is why we don't quote them here.

Is there a cheaper option for occasional hiring?

For a few roles a year, per-role pricing beats a seat: Talent Summoner runs one AI-sourced search for $39, valid 24 months, with no subscription — against $1,788 a year for Core. If you hire every month, $79/month covers 4 roles.

Still deciding? Start free on a live role and let the shortlist argue for itself.

Prices read from SeekOut's published pricing page (seekout.com/pricing) by grepping the raw page source, verified August 2026; tiers above Recruit Core are sales-quoted and SeekOut publishes no figure for them. We re-verify this page quarterly — tell us if something changed.
