How Much Does ZipRecruiter Cost for Employers? (2026)
Guides report no public ZipRecruiter price list and plans from about $299 a month per job slot. Example costs for three roles, checked November 2026.

Guides report that ZipRecruiter shows employers no public price list. Plans start from about $299 a month per job slot, with a short free trial.
We build Talent Summoner, which does not post jobs: it searches public profiles for people who fit your role, including people who never applied, and ranks them with the reasoning behind each match. Your first Role is free, with no card.
This page is for an employer about to post a role. If you hire in volume every month, keep reading for the slot math; if you hire a few times a year, compare it with the shortlist route below.
How much does ZipRecruiter cost?
We could not read ZipRecruiter's employer pricing page: it returned a bot challenge to automated requests on 4 November 2026. Every ZipRecruiter figure here is reported by third-party guides, not published by the vendor.
| Option | Monthly price (ZipRecruiter figures reported) | What it adds |
|---|---|---|
| Standard | From about $299 | One reusable slot, unlimited applications |
| Premium | From about $419 | Wider distribution, resume search with 25 views a month |
| Pro | From about $719 | Top placement for urgent, hard-to-fill roles |
| Talent Summoner | Not a job slot: Unlimited US$299 for 4 people (+US$59 each) or Pro US$59 a month for 10 Roles; or US$29 per Role; first Role free, no card | A ranked shortlist from public profiles, with reasons; you contact people yourself |
Pin and Truffle report ranges that start at these floors, and Fit Small Business reports the same figures as a quote, plus about $16 to $24 a day on a usage plan. Guides disagree on the top of each range, and GoPerfect reports about $249 for Standard.
What else do you pay for on ZipRecruiter?
The plan price is not always the bill. Per the guides:
- Slots multiply: each open job takes a slot, so five Standard slots start from $1,495 a month by our arithmetic.
- Boosts: TrafficBoost credits, which push an underperforming job, are reported at $300 to $500 each.
- Resume views: extra views beyond the plan are reported at about $1 each.
- Short trial: the free trial is reported at two to four days.
What might one role cost on ZipRecruiter?
These use the reported Standard and Premium floors and our example of how long each role stays open. The arithmetic is monthly price times months.
| Role | Plan and time | Reported cost |
|---|---|---|
| Warehouse associate | Standard, 1 month | From about $299 |
| Office manager | Standard, 1 month | From about $299 |
| Senior backend engineer | Premium, 2 months | From about $838 |
A slot is reusable, so a new role can take over the slot when the last one closes. The cost is for the months the slot is open.
What does it cost to run 3 roles a year?
This assumes three roles, each filled within one month on a single Standard slot that you cancel between roles. Kept all year, guides report from about $3,600.
| Option | Year one | Later years | What the money buys |
|---|---|---|---|
| ZipRecruiter Standard, 3 months | From $897 | From $897 | Applicants, plus matched candidates the platform invites |
| Talent Summoner, 3 Roles | US$33 | US$79 | A ranked shortlist for each role; outreach is your job |
Our arithmetic: year one is a free Role, then US$4, then US$29. Later years use the US$79 3-Role bundle.
These options buy different things. ZipRecruiter brings applicants and invites people to apply, while a shortlist brings people who fit but may not be looking.
When is ZipRecruiter worth it?
- Repeat roles: a slot can be reused as each role closes.
- Broad reach in one step: Fit Small Business reports one-click distribution to 100-plus partner job boards.
- Applicants matter more than names: entry-level, hourly and standard roles draw plenty of job seekers.
- No time for outreach: you can screen applicants but not write to people one by one.
In our view it is weaker for senior or niche roles and for teams that hire a few times a year, where an idle slot still bills. To compare it with the other big board, read ZipRecruiter vs Indeed and how much Indeed costs; for LinkedIn, see LinkedIn job posting cost.
Where Talent Summoner fits
Candidate sourcing searches LinkedIn, GitHub and other public sources, over 200 million profiles, and ranks people against your must-haves and nice-to-haves. When you reach out, it drafts each message and sends it from your own Gmail, Outlook or LinkedIn after you review each message and confirm the send.
Prices as of 4 November 2026: Unlimited is US$299 a month for up to 4 people (US$59 per extra person) and Pro is US$59 a month for 10 Roles; unused Roles do not carry over. Or pay per Role: your first Role is free, then US$29 (pricing).
Trade-offs, stated plainly: no LinkedIn InMail, no always-on pipeline and no ATS integration today.
It is not a job board: it does not post jobs or collect applications. For the full cost of a hire, see cost per hire.
We checked these sources on 4 November 2026 and re-check them every quarter. ZipRecruiter's prices could not be confirmed on its own site; the figures come from Pin, Truffle and Fit Small Business (updated May 2025), and your quote may differ.
